Home...Safe and sound

Whew! It was a long weekend for me, Mommy, and Daddy. I've been so tired that I couldn't find any energy to blog. The pediatrician said blogging can be a very strenuous activity for an infant.

After months of anticipation, I decided to arrive early. Well, it was really against my will. Some evil doctor gave Mommy some medicine that forced me out. Before that, he gave her some stuff called magnesium and it made me hot and tired. Then they poked and prodded me for half-an-hour in the nursery. I wonder if they knew that my Dad is a lawyer. I'll have to talk to him about filing a law suit over the hospital's invasive practices on babies. We could make it a class action.

Anyway, the surprise made my entrance into this world even more grand. All the nurses adored me. My Grandmas and Grandpas got to spend a lot of time with me. They're pretty cool. I'm going to be so spoiled.

I thought some of you might want to get a better feel for who I am and how I look. I think you'll enjoy this. After all, I am one good looking dude. Here's the video (Reminder for Great Aunt Barb - Check your bus schedule and then the clock before viewing):

Hey, sweetie. I hear you are doing a number on your parents at night, so thought I would give you some loving grandmotherly advice...DON'T wear them out too soon! Hey man, you need them sane and competent over, say, the next 18 - 22 years. So, give them a break, cut them some slack, show a little mercy. Get your day and night situated and focus, focus, focus! Sleep at night; wrestle, fuss and carry on during the day. You won't regret it. Really! [They may even consider that car when you're 16!]
Your loving Nana! And hope to see you again soon!
PS, I have been showing your picture to all my friends ...and without a doubt, they tell me, you are the most beautiful baby! And I thought I was just biased!!

Hey, Philip! Why don't you put something new up here?

Nana - You should show the pictures to people with less tendancies to be sycophantic. Try your bosses. Better yet, show my pictures to complete strangers. They won't lie.

Grandad - I'm just an infant. I can't update on a daily basis. It's hard enough for me to post at the current rate. When things settle down, I might be able to put more up more often.

I gotta run...the changing table is calling my name.

Wow, Philip, you are wise beyond your ears! Nana had to google some of your words to understand what you said! (It took me to a couple of Supreme Court sites! Was your Daddy helping you?)

Better go. Have to clean up the kitchen. Uncle Mark is coming home tonight. He'll be ready for some home cookin' AND to see all your pictures.

Congrats on blogdom. I have just added your Atom feed to my newsreader and appropriately enough you are being syndicated right next to NarcoNews. By the way, you should be careful when blogging because I have been meaning to inform your dad of an alarming number of Dell laptop batteries that appear to have a natural propensity for spontaneous combustion. There is a recall though that might be worth checking into. Since you're becoming quite the proficient blogger, you might want to get some tips to perfect your style from the Iranian President's Ahmadine-Blog LOL! Fortunately, there is an English version in case your dad hasn't had the chance to teach you Farsi yet. Well it looks like you have your hands full. I'll look forward to your upcoming blog antics.

Hey, Philip. I showed your picture around at work today and a couple of people remarked that your dad looks like Nana. And they said you have a nice house. Oh yeah, everyone said how much you look like me. I guess that's becuase we are both so good looking and have about the same amount of hair. Hope you are getting all the sleep you need. What about Mom and Dad? Talk to you later.

Hey Paul, Cheryl, Kirsten, and Caleb.

Thanks for stopping by. My Daddy's told me all about y'all. I enjoyed your blog. Don't let my Daddy fool you. He doesn't know what he's doing with this thing. He just sort of pushes buttons and stuff, and somehow it all seems to work out. I have to help him out a lot.

So, 4 months in Johnson City, eh? Johnson City ain't Branson, MO, but it's still pretty nice, according to my Dad. I'll be getting up that way soon enough. Perhaps we can meet for dinner? I'll have my people call your people.
