Christmas Parade and Santa - 2013

We went to the Christmas Parade at Huntingdon again this year.
It started to rain right before the parade.  Philip stayed under the umbrella with me, but Ben did not seem to care!

Ben wanted to get right up close to all the action!

Santa arrives on a firetruck - Ben waved to him!

The boys were a little wet - but they still enjoyed seeing Santa.
Philip told him he wanted "books, an NFL football Wii game, and a bat."  Ben told him he wanted "I don't know."
 Big hugs from Santa!
We had a fun night with Santa!!

Decorating the Christmas Tree - 2013

We had fun getting out all the ornaments again this year.  The boys like to talk about where they all came from as we pull them out of the boxes.
Both boys were really good tree decorators this year!

They both really worked hard to get all the ornaments up!

 Sweet brothers!

Philip making sure everything looks good.

And of course, in typical Wilson fashion, the spelling of an odd word with the ornaments.  This year it was Philip who arranged the letters - and even turned the "P" upside down to get a "D".

Ben's Cherub Choir Christmas Program

Ben is in the 3 Year Old cherub Choir at our church.
Their Christmas Program was December 1, 2013
They sang several songs, did motions, and said some Bible verses.
The kids rang their bells during Jingle Bells.
The program was so sweet and the kids did such a great job!
Afterwards, they had a cookie and punch reception for the kids and their families.
We were very proud of Ben!

Snow!!

We were in Johnson City over Thanksgiving and it snowed!!
The boys were very excited to get outside and play when we arrived.
Once we were outside, Ben decided he didn't really want to touch the snow or have any of it on his gloves or clothes.
 Philip loved everything about it!!

Ben's Class Thanksgiving Party

Ben's class Thanksgiving Feast was November 22, 2013.
His classroom was decorated for Thanksgiving and there was some yummy food for lunch!

Philip's feast was the same day, so Daddy came to Ben's party and Mommy and Philip came late.
Ben had fun having Philip at his party!

Philip's 1st Grade Thanksgiving Feast

The 1st Grade at Trinity has a Thanksgiving Feast every year.
Each child made a placemat with a list of things they were thankful for.
They had a short program before the feast, where they told the story of the first Thanksgiving Feast.

All the kids dressed up as Indians and Pilgrims.
They had a traditional feast of turkey, corn, green beans, and a cookie!

Philip's 1st Grade Class and his teacher, Mrs. Morrison

A turkey even came to the feast!!
