LOL!

Here's a video clip of Philip laughing. He's recently started laughing like this when he thinks something's real funny (like raspberries on his stomach, peek-a-boo, crazy mouthsounds, mommy tripping and falling).

Santa Visit

We went to see Santa today. Philip did great - he is very good at posing for the camera lately. After the picture he told Santa what he wanted for Christmas - solid foods, clean diapers, and peace on earth.

Another Photo Album

Here's another photo album of various pictures of Philip and pals.

Our Weekend

We decorated the Christmas tree. Philip really likes the lights.

Philip's new Christmas outfit.

Philip is really holding his head up by himself lately.

He loves to sit up where he can see everything!

Philip's Baptism Redux

Here's a video of Philip's baptism. It's kind of grainy due to the video editing software. Enjoy...

Philip's Baptism

Philip was baptised on Sunday morning. He was a wonderful baby - he didn't cry at all. Except during the first song when the trumpets started really loudly!

Thanksgiving weekend

Thanksgiving Dinner. Nathan's family came to town.

Voting: It's everyone's primary civic duty

Even for a 3 month old. Sometimes, you just gotta fudge your age a little bit on the voter registration forms in order to make sure your voice is heard. After I voted today, I vomited on Daddy.

Pumpkin Patch

These are a few pictures of us picking out a pumpkin for Halloween. Philip has really enjoyed being outside lately. Lately the weather has been a little cooler, and he looks surprised when the wind blows. It seems to take his breath away.

Philip's New Outfit

It has recently come to my attention that when my friends Amy and Kate came to visit Philip, we did not take any pictures of them with Philip. So, today, Philip told me he wanted to wear this outfit that they gave him to make up for it. Hope this works!

"I am not a crook!"

Watchin' the game with my friends

Well, I got up early this morning with Dad to prepare for today's slate of college football games. While he was outside mowing the lawn (hopefully the last time for the year), I was watching the sports pundits debate this weeks matchups. Lee Corso is such an abhorrent ignoramus. He makes me nauseous. Anyway, Dad came inside, and we watched Arkansas demolish Auburn. It's a shame we couldn't have driven 45 minutes down I-85 to watch the bloodbath take place before our very eyes. Well, I need a nap before I get together with my friends and Dad for the Alabama kickoff. Roll Tide!

Philip Can Smile!!

Philip has recently started smiling. We tried to get a picture of it, but haven't been able to get a really good one. Apparently he doesn't smile on demand!

Philip's New Favorite Toy

This floor gym is Philip's new favorite thing. He will stare at the fish and mirror everytime we put him on it like they are brand new and exciting! He will smile and laugh almost everytime he sees them.

Visiting School

Today Philip and I went to visit his school. This is his teacher Mrs. Taluluh. We'll try to get a picture of his other teacher Mrs. Debra next time. Philip seemed to enjoy it today. We'll see what happens next week if I get brave enough to leave him!

Holding Daddy's Hand

Last night Philip was napping on the couch next to Nathan, and he startled and reached up and grabbed Nathan's hand. I know it was just a reflex, but it was probably one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. Glad the camera was on the coffee table within reach!

Philip's first bath

Here are a few pictures from Philip's first tub bath. He seemed a little unsure about the water at first, but then seemed to enjoy the bath.

Home...Safe and sound

Whew! It was a long weekend for me, Mommy, and Daddy. I've been so tired that I couldn't find any energy to blog. The pediatrician said blogging can be a very strenuous activity for an infant.

After months of anticipation, I decided to arrive early. Well, it was really against my will. Some evil doctor gave Mommy some medicine that forced me out. Before that, he gave her some stuff called magnesium and it made me hot and tired. Then they poked and prodded me for half-an-hour in the nursery. I wonder if they knew that my Dad is a lawyer. I'll have to talk to him about filing a law suit over the hospital's invasive practices on babies. We could make it a class action.

Anyway, the surprise made my entrance into this world even more grand. All the nurses adored me. My Grandmas and Grandpas got to spend a lot of time with me. They're pretty cool. I'm going to be so spoiled.

I thought some of you might want to get a better feel for who I am and how I look. I think you'll enjoy this. After all, I am one good looking dude. Here's the video (Reminder for Great Aunt Barb - Check your bus schedule and then the clock before viewing):

Great....Dad's got a camcorder.

And I'm sure he's planning on using it more than it's really needed (sigh). He has a digital camera and a lap top, too. A couple of more techno-devices and he could qualify for Japanese citizenship.

Well, I was almost born today. The doctor says I make Mommy's blood boil. Just wait until she sees what I have in store from her once I'm born. I plan making her blood pressure rise higher than Mount Popocatepetl. LOL! Anyway, the doctor sent Mommy and Daddy home empty handed. But the doctor said he'll force me out of here on August 14...and that's if I don't decide to come sooner! I'll just have to play it by placenta.

All this recent news is exciting, and I'm overwhelmed. I guess it would be a good idea to go ahead show you my new place, courtesy of Daddy's new camcorder. It's just about 100% completed. Check it out.

Hi. I'm Philip.

Welcome to my blog. It's my Mommy and Daddy's blog too. They'll chime in from time to time, but I've instructed them to keep the subject matter to me.

This is me.
I'm going to be the cutest baby in the world. I can't wait to enter all of those baby beauty pageants. I'm guaranteed to win them all.

This is my Mommy and Daddy.

I make Mommy hurt and complain. I think she'll like me a lot better when I'm born. Daddy's strong and can beat up any of the other Daddy's out there.

Most blogs are stupid, but I'm taking blogging to a whole new level. Be sure to check back frequently.
