Ben - 6 Month Stats

Hard to believe - Ben is 6 months old! It seems like just yesterday we were headed to the hospital to finally meet him. Now he is eating baby food, working on sitting up, and is developing a sweet little personality. Ben thinks his big brother is pretty great - Philip can always calm him down and make him laugh.
He weighs 16 pounds 14 ounces, and is 26 1/2 inches tall. He has lost some weight since his last check-up - we will be working on that this week. Once again, he did not enjoy his three shots.

Christmas 2010

Santa came again this year!

He left these gifts for Philip...

And these for Ben!

And he took our Elf back to the North Pole with him.

We were up bright and early. Philip started asking if Santa had come at 5:30 a.m. We started the Christmas festivities around 6:00.

After checking out the gifts, Philip started on the stockings. He of course found a Toy Story ornament with Woody and Buzz!

Ben didn't know what to think of everything.

Philip making sure he finds everything in the stocking!

More army men!

Helping Ben with his stocking.

Going through the gifts from Santa again.

Trying out the new rain boots.

Thinking about taking a test drive in the den - not a good idea!

Ben checking out the new tractor.

After some breakfast - we started opening gifts. When we told Philip we had to eat breakfast before opening the presents - he told us to "take bigger bites and let's get going!"

Excited Ben!

Philip showing Ben the gift he picked out for him!

After we got dressed, we headed over to my parents to open more gifts and have lunch.

Philip got a new airplane and airport.

Philip was in charge of opening all the gifts once again.

He took his job pretty seriously.

Ben was super excited about this new mirror.

He thinks looking in the mirror is really funny.

Playing with the airport.

We had a wonderful day!

Getting cookies and milk ready for Santa!

Super Excited!!

Putting out the reindeer food - the best way to attract those reindeer to your house.

My little accountant making sure it's all spread out evenly.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. We went to communion and a candle-light service at our church. Next, we had dinner with my parents and brother, then headed home to get ready for Santa. After checking the Santa radar, Philip quickly headed to bed!

Making Cookies for Santa!

Philip and I made some cookies for Santa on Thursday.

Philip picked out the cookie cutters.

He was very excited to cut out the cookies.

They were delicious!

Philip's School Christmas Party - 2010

Philip's class had a Christmas party before Christmas Holidays started.

Philip's Table

Each table wrapped one person up as a snowman!

The kids really enjoyed this game!

After the game, they decorated an ornament.

And Philip decided to use one of the table centerpieces as a hat...
