New videos

I put some new videos of Philip up on YouTube. They aren't the best quality, but they're still enjoyable...

Here's Philip talking like a pirate:

Here is a close-up of him singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star":

Here he is doing the church, steeple, people hand trick; doing some counting; and saying the Pledge of Allegiance:

Marching:

Here he is dancing to "Sweet Home Alabama":

And for those of you who haven't seen it, here he is opening an automatic door. Someone who shall not be named told him that you have to clap to get the doors to open. This is from a few months ago, but I don't think we ever posted it here:

Making Valentine's Cards

Philip made Valentines Cards for his grandparents this year.

With a little help from Mommy.

He really enjoyed the glitter.

Mommy wasn't quite ready to hand over the glue. Maybe next year.

Fun Friday!

We all had a fun day at Pump It Up on Friday.

We went for the morning since Daddy had the day off.

They have several inflatibles, including this basketball court.

Philip quickly learned how to jump and move around in all the bounce houses.

We had a fun morning!

But I think the big slide was our favorite!

Playhouse Disney LIVE!!!

A few weekends before Christmas, we went to see Playhouse Disney Live! The pictures are a little fuzzy, mainly because Mickey Mouse and friends don't stay still very long!

I don't think Philip's eyes moved from the stage the entire show.

He was excited to see the Little Einsteins from his first favorite show.

He only left my lap during intermission.

We had a great time!

Christmas 2008

Santa found Philip at our new house!

He brought lots of fun stuff.

Especially these new bean bags for Philip's play room.

Here's Philip waking up - he was already excited!

And his excitement increased as the day went on....

He quickly figured out there were more surprises in his stocking.

And how to quickly get everything out!

When he finished - he went for Mommy and Daddy's stockings!

Santa also brought some tools.

And a tool belt.

After we finished at our house, we headed over to my parents to open more gifts and have lunch.

By this point in the day, Philip was clear on how to open presents and what that meant.

I think he might have opened at least one of everyone's gifts for them.

He also got this basketball goal, which is quickly wearing Dad out.

The most heard phrase around our house now is "Daddy, Want to play basketball?"

We had a wonderful day! Merry Christmas everyone!

Decorating Our New House!!

We were able to move in the weekend before Christmas. The stockings were hung on the bare mantle with care.

Philip has been asking to decorate the Christmas tree for weeks. Please ignore the boxes!

His favorite part was unwrapping the ornaments to find out what they were.

He was VERY excited.

Like most 2 year olds - he wanted to do this by himself.

And this is how it turned out.

Guess he liked this section of the tree the best.

Here's the finished product.
