Philip's School Christmas Program

Philip's school had their Christmas program on Thursday morning, December 8.
They sang several Christmas songs.

This year all the kids had some sort of part in the program.

Philip said a Christmas poem with 3 other kids.

We practiced at home and he did a great job!

Some of the kids were dressed up to make a nativity scene and the Christmas story was read.

The program was so sweet and all the kids did a great job!

Mom and Dad were so proud!

Sweet buddies!

Philip's Choir Christmas Program - 2011

The 4 and 5 year old choir at our church had their Christmas program on Sunday night, December 4.
They sang several Christmas songs.

And of course there were some motions to go with the songs!

They all did a really good job singing.

After the program, there was a small reception with punch and cookies for the kids.

Decorating for Christmas - 2011

We decorated for Christmas last weekend.
We had fun unwrapping all the Christmas Tree ornaments first.

Here are the stockings and a warm fire!

Ben was really interested in the fire.

Sweet Brothers...

The fire and some hot chocolate were Philip's special request. He informed us that they always have a fire and hot chocolate when people decorate the Christmas tree in the movies.

Ben tried, but he really could only set the ornaments on top of the branches.

So Philip helped him and fixed his ornaments!

Santa Claus

We went again this year to the Christmas Parade at Huntingdon.

The boys waiting on the parade to start.

Ben was really interested in the candles.

Philip watching the band.

Santa Claus arriving in the fire truck!

This year Santa talked to all the kids before taking some pictures.

Philip was really excited to see Santa. Ben was not a big fan.

Once we rescued Ben - Philip had some time to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas. We had a fun night and a great start to the Christmas season!
