The Easter Bunny came to visit Philip!
He loved his new crayons and plates!
He got an Elmo coloring book.
The Easter Eggs had candy inside!
He loved the chocolate.

Philip also had some gifts from Nana and Granddad.
Some new books, a chocolate bunny, and The Runaway Bunny!

Philip has been trying out his sunglasses to get ready for summer and the beach. He thinks they are cool like Mommy's.
He doesn't know you aren't supposed to wear them in the house yet.
We had breakfast for dinner tonight - Pancakes, eggs, bacon. Oh, and blueberries - note Philip's blue mouth and hands.
After several weeks of minimal interest in eating - Philip cleaned his plate and wanted seconds, and then thirds! The blueberries seemed to disappear as soon as they hit his plate.
Philip's new love is to be outside, or "soutside" as he calls it. We've had some warm weather lately, so he's been outside a lot more in the past few weeks.
He loves to look for cats outside, and says "Here kitty" and clicks his tongue like his dad taught him.
Philip loves to run around the yard, and usually says "RUN!" while he's running. I guess just to let us know what he's doing.
We have balls and toys to play with, but the sprinkler is the favorite backyard toy.
Philip had his first haircut today. Here is the before shot with his curls .

He had a big cookie to distract him from what was actually going on, and he actually sat still the entire time!

We are way behind with the Valentine's pictures! Philip and Daddy gave Mommy some roses. Philip enjoyed them more than anyone!
Today was Philip's 18 month check-up. He weighs 23 pounds and 13 ounces, and is 31 1/4 inches tall.
