The Bay

We went to the bay while we were in Fairhope. Philip was pretty leery of the water, but loved the sand. So much that he ate some.

Philip also made a new best friend - Rosie Rux. He tried his hardest to keep up with her and chased her through the house. She let him get close a few times.

9 Month Checkup

Yesterday was Philip's 9 Month checkup. He weighs 20 pounds and is 27 1/4 inches long. No shots this time - but he did get his finger pricked.

Philip Playing

Philip can get his own toys now.

He loves to play in the window.

Getting up in the window is easy - it's getting back down to crawl to the next toy that's the tricky part.

He also loves to crawl through things - this toy, the coffee table, his rocking chair, basically anything he can fit through.

A New Way to Play With the ExerSaucer

Changing diapers has become a challenge...

So, we lay him on the changing table on his back - and he immediately flips to his stomach and scoots up to his knees to look over the side. Lots of fun.

Also, toys are okay to Philip, but he prefers things that babies really shouldn't be playing with...like laptops, power cords, blinds, and camcorders...Here he is going after the camcorder while it's rolling.

Eating Again

Philip was sent home from school early on Tuesday with a stomach virus. He had a rough few days. This is his first full meal when he was feeling better. He seemed a little unsure about it!

Visit with The Easter Bunny

We went to see the Easter Bunny today with Philip. He spent most of the time rubbing the Easter Bunny's fur and looking at his ears.

We finally got him to look at the camera!
