Christmas Eve 2011

We had a busy and fun Christmas Eve this year. We went to the mall to ride the Santa train and the carousel in the morning. Next, we went to Christmas Eve Communion at our church. That night we went to the candlelight service at church and then had dinner at our house.
Before bed, we went outside to spread the reindeer food.

Philip was pretty serious about getting the food just right. Ben was more interested in the moon.

Philip dictated exactly what the note should say. It was a fun night with two very excited little boys!

Zoo Christmas Lights - 2011

We went to see the lights at the zoo one night last week.

Ben has really enjoyed the lights this year.

After we rode the train, we walked around and looked at the lights.

Philip and Ben needed a close up look.

We all had a fun night!

Philip's School Christmas Party

Philip's Christmas party at school was Thursday, December 15.
The tables were decorated for Christmas!

Everyone had their own bag of reindeer food to take home.

All the kids decorated an ornament to take home. We had stickers, glitter pens, and markers.

Philip worked really hard on his.

We played some Christmas themed bingo, with red and green M&Ms.

But the favorite part of the party was the snowball fight!

We used cotton balls and let the kids go wild!

They loved it and had so much fun!

Even Mrs. Struthers jumped into the fight!

We had a great party!

Philip's School Christmas Program

Philip's school had their Christmas program on Thursday morning, December 8.
They sang several Christmas songs.

This year all the kids had some sort of part in the program.

Philip said a Christmas poem with 3 other kids.

We practiced at home and he did a great job!

Some of the kids were dressed up to make a nativity scene and the Christmas story was read.

The program was so sweet and all the kids did a great job!

Mom and Dad were so proud!
